Whatever your requirements we can meet them. Based in North Yorkshire but covering the whole of the UK, Northern Falconry and the Falcons of Thorp Perrow Display Team are booked country-wide.
We pride ourselves on providing an informative and entertaining insight into the world of raptors. We aim to inform the public through first hand experience how these awesome creatures are individually adapted to meet the needs of their natural environment.
From high flying falcons and a ferruginous buzzard to the star of the show, Gomez the Ruppell’s Griffon Vulture with his six foot wingspan, our static and flying displays of eagles, vultures, hawks and owls is second to none. These birds along with many others are available for both flying and static demonstrations according to the requirements of the event.
One or two flying demonstrations can be booked with at least three birds flown at each, with the emphasis firmly upon audience participation. A static display of up to ten birds gives visitors to your event the opportunity to discuss the birds with one of our staff, take photographs and handle, (under supervision) some of these magnificent birds.
Display Requirements
Our static display requires up to 30 feet X 10 Feet for a stand area for which we provide our own shelter equipment. The flying demonstrations will require an arena area plus a public address system for the commentary. We use our own hands free headset for this purpose though this does need an amplifier and speaker system on site.
All of our displays are covered by Public Liability Insurance, a copy of which is available on request.
